California. Site #1 in a salt marsh near Davis. Collected at the end of the dry period (Sept.-Feb.), after which it becomes flooded. Salinity varies from 0-60 ppthousand (lowest when flooded; highest when dry). Labelled "marine".

Few spores evident in field-collected soil. Moderate no. of spores of a cream-yellow small Glomus (<80 ?m) wer produced in the trap. Wall structure is etunicatum-like and very thin.
