The image above is a close view of the zip-loc bags used to store dried pot culture contents (inocula) in a walk-in cold room. Accession number and date of harvest are stapled to the left side of each bag (front and back). All bags are arranged alphabetically to find any one of them easily. Notice the absence of free moisture on the inside of the bags, which is essential for long-term viability of fungal inoculum.
