Field site in Saskatchewan, Canada. Part of a study by Talukdar. Inoculum arrived as spores stored in sand in a centrifuge tube. Enough spores were extracted to inoculate onto sorghum seedlings in several conetainers.

Many spores were retrieved, some white and immature. Spores bear some resemblance to G. clarum, except that the spore has robust yellow laminae and a thin flexible inner wall.
