Sidney is a former PhD student who has since made his own way at the university in Blumenau. He is an excellent taxonomist and is working hard to become a well-rounded systematist. He was invited to serve on the panel this year because he is developing a regional collection, and it is important that interactions and collaborations between collections develop early and become sustainable.
